RIOT Collective is a gathering space for connection, growth, &
a helluva good time!
We are a mother-daughter unit based out of Asheville, NC & we wanted to build something: a place to exist authentically & intentionally.
We live in a time where we are all connected, but not authentically connected. And we are changing that!
Why? Because we deserve it. And you do too.
We crave intellectual conversation, mimosa-Sundays with new friends, craft nights.
Will some events be ticketed? Yes.
Will some be free to the community? Yep!
We have a menu of ways to bring us all together.
Through events, retreats, community nights, memberships, 1:1 coaching, group coaching…
we have something for everyone and we want to meet YOU!

Hi hi hi!
My name is Elise and I am so excited to welcome you into RIOT Collective with the biggest smile EVER! I have been living in Asheville since 2006 (age 10) when my mom and I moved from the Charlotte area. I am currently 29, wife to the most incredible man (i’m obsessed), and mom to the smartest, world’s most fiery toddler. If you want to read more about me professionally, you can read that over here.
My mom and I have always had one thing in common: We love to have a dang gathering!! For as long as I can remember, my mom has thrown the best birthday parties, cast parties for her theatre friends, random Sunday afternoon cook-outs… You name it, we found a way to celebrate it! Let’s just say the gene was passed down to me too and with our powers combined? Shew!! What it all boils down to is that I just want to celebrate you.
While we are both fulfilled in what we do professionally, we were craving more. We craved meeting new people, making new friends (it’s so hard to do as adults!), challenging our brains with intellectual conversation, learning new tricks and trades and crafts, and being a part of something bigger than just us. Hence… RIOT Collective! We have so much in store for this Collective and we are overjoyed that you want to be a part of it with us.

Hi there! I’m Leslie. A natural-born connector, celebrator, and host at heart. I moved to Asheville in 2006 when my real estate career brought me and my daughter here. Me and Elise lived much of her youth-life just the 2 of us but I am now married to a wonderful man who I am honored to life-it-up with! I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and fully alive.
I’ve always loved bringing people together and finding a reason to celebrate just about everything. Whether it’s gathering around a table, hosting meaningful moments, or turning an ordinary night into something unforgettable, I believe joy is meant to be shared.
My daughter and I started RIOT Collective as a way to celebrate life again. For ourselves and for others. What began as something personal has grown into a shared mission: to create spaces where we can heal together, laugh freely, sing awful karaoke without hesitation, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
At my core, I’m here to remind people that life is meant to be lived out loud and that no moment is too small to celebrate. Let’s Start a RIOT! (The good kind)
